Our March 2026 Reading RetreatS
I’m so excited to announce Book Huddle’s 17th and 18th reading retreats, which will be in a brand new location… Prince Edward County in Ontario!
We’ll be hosting back-to-back weekends at the stunning lakefront Drake Devonshire from:
Fri Mar 20th @ 4pm to Sun Mar 22nd at 11am
Fri Mar 27th @ 4pm to Sun Mar 29th at 11am
Prince Edward County is a scenic slice of southeastern Ontario, located just a couple of hours outside of Toronto, Canada. It’s known for its thriving arts scene, vineyards, food, and maple syrup! Drake Devonshire is a luxurious boutique destination, and we’ll have both Drake Devonshire and sister property Drake Motor Inn to ourselves for the event!
But first, before I get into the details below, a quick disclaimer:
All of the reading retreats have sold out very quickly to date, and I anticipate spots filling up fast for these wonderful events.
If you want to attend this reading retreat, join Book Huddle Club for early access to ticket sales, a $50 USD coupon towards your retreat ticket, and a virtual book club membership with over 700 other readers!
Please note: Joining Book Huddle Club does not guarantee a ticket, but it does give you a 24-hour head start before tickets go on sale to the public. Just make sure you join by 11:59 pm on Sep 28th to ensure early access to the sale the next morning.
Now for the details!
Ontario March 2026 Reading Retreat Dates & Location

Fri Mar 20th to Sun Mar 22nd
Fri Mar 27th to Sun Mar 29th
We kindly request that attendees only attend one weekend to create more opportunities for other huddlers to join. Maximum two tickets per person.
Check in for the retreat starts at 4pm on Friday, and the retreat ends at 11am on Sunday.
Nestled in Prince Edward County, Drake Devonshire is a lakeside retreat where contemporary design and creature comforts meet a bucolic, natural setting. With a sauna, lakeside chaise lounges, and thoughtfully designed rooms, it’s the perfect place to read books and make new friends!
Lounge by the lake, explore nearby vineyards, distilleries, cideries, breweries, and galleries, or discover the charm of surrounding villages. Every detail is crafted to balance relaxation and rejuvenation.
We’ll also have rooms at Drake Motor Inn, another fabulous sister property, which is located on the same block!
Our retreat venue is:
A 2-hour easy drive from Toronto
Also accessible by train and Uber from Toronto
Think of a reading retreat as a book club getaway. You’ll choose from a selection of curated books, read ahead, and dive into thoughtful discussions with your huddle throughout the retreat!
