Retreat Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a retreat ticket, you agree to these terms and conditions:

  • Your Ticket Includes: All items listed on the sales page at the time of purchase.

  • Cancellations & Refunds:

    • 60+ Days Notice: If you cancel more than 60 days before the retreat, Book Huddle will attempt to resell your ticket to the community.

      • If the ticket is resold, you’ll receive a refund for the amount you paid, less a $199 processing fee.

      • If the ticket is not resold, you’ll receive 50% of the ticket value, less the $199 processing fee.

    • Less Than 60 Days Notice: No transfers, reselling, or refunds will be allowed for cancellations made within 60 days of the retreat.

  • Ticket Transfers: Tickets can be transferred to another attendee for a $199 processing fee, but transfers are prohibited within 60 days of the retreat.

  • Payment Plans:

    • Payment plan tickets are non-refundable if payments are overdue by 7+ days.

    • Book Huddle reserves the right to resell overdue payment tickets without issuing refunds.

  • Retreat Changes: The itinerary, accommodations, and other retreat details are subject to change.

  • Assumption of Risk: By attending, you assume all risks (including injury or illness) and agree to hold Book Huddle/Moore Ideas Consulting, Inc. harmless.

Introduction

This Agreement, referred to as the “Agreement,” is made between the Retreat organizer (“Organizer”), specifically:

And you, as a participant in the retreat (“Guest”). By purchasing a retreat ticket, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions, including cancellation, refund, and transfer policies.

Article 1 – Confirmation

  • To purchase a retreat ticket, you must complete the registration process via the website or email. Upon completing payment, you will receive a confirmation email outlining your registration details.

  • Organizer may require additional information (e.g., dietary preferences, roommate preferences) to finalize arrangements.

  • Itinerary details, venue information, and other updates will be communicated prior to the retreat but are subject to change at the Organizer’s discretion.

Article 2 – Payment Plans & Fees

  • Payment plans require monthly progress payments. If payments are overdue by 7+ days, the Organizer reserves the right to resell the ticket without issuing refunds for amounts already paid.

  • Tickets purchased via an upfront payment may qualify for partial refunds under the Cancellations & Refunds policy.

Article 3 – Cancellations, Transfers, & Refunds

Cancellations:

  1. 60+ Days Before the Retreat:

    • Organizer will attempt to resell your ticket to the community.

      • If the ticket is resold, you will receive a refund for the amount paid, less a $199 processing fee.

      • If the ticket is not resold, you will receive 50% of the ticket value, less the $199 processing fee.

  2. Less Than 60 Days Before the Retreat:

    • No transfers, reselling, or refunds will be permitted under any circumstances.

Ticket Transfers:

  • Tickets may be transferred to another attendee with a $199 processing fee, provided the transfer occurs 60+ days before the retreat.

  • Transfers are prohibited within 60 days of the retreat start date.

Deposits:

  • Deposits are eligible for a partial refund (50% of the amount paid, less a $199 processing fee) if cancellation occurs more than 60 days before the retreat and the ticket cannot be resold.

  • If the ticket is resold more than 60 days before the retreat, the original buyer will be refunded the full amount paid, less a $199 processing fee.

  • Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 60 days of the retreat, and Book Huddle will not attempt to resell the ticket.

Article 4 – Inclusions & Changes

  • Your ticket includes only the items explicitly listed on the sales page at the time of purchase.

  • Organizer reserves the right to modify the retreat itinerary, accommodations, and activities due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, vendor availability, or safety concerns.

Article 5 – Assumption of Risk

By participating in the retreat, you acknowledge and agree to assume all risks associated with the retreat, including but not limited to:

  • Physical Risks: Injuries during physical activities, such as hiking, walking, or other excursions.

  • Travel Risks: Delays, cancellations, or issues related to transportation, including flights or transfers.

  • Health Risks: Illness, including COVID-19 or other communicable diseases.

  • Property Risks: Damage, theft, or loss of personal belongings.

You expressly agree to hold Book Huddle/Moore Ideas Consulting, Inc., its employees, contractors, and affiliates harmless from any claims, demands, or liabilities arising from or in connection with the retreat.

Article 6 – Liability Waiver

  • You acknowledge and agree that participation in the retreat is voluntary.

  • You waive and release all claims against Book Huddle/Moore Ideas Consulting, Inc. for any injuries, illnesses, property damage, or other losses incurred during or as a result of the retreat.

  • This waiver extends to any activities facilitated by third-party vendors, including but not limited to excursions, transportation, or lodging.

Article 7 – Travel Documentation

  • Guests are solely responsible for maintaining valid travel documentation (e.g., passports, visas).

  • Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the retreat date. Failure to provide proper documentation is not grounds for refunds.

Article 8 – Travel Insurance

  • Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events.

  • The Organizer is not liable for any financial losses due to lack of insurance coverage.

Article 9 – Media Release

  • By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded, and grant the Organizer rights to use such media for promotional purposes.

  • Personal contact information (e.g., address, phone number) will not be shared or published.

Article 10 – Prohibited Activities

Guests agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or harm other attendees or staff.

  • Violate any local laws or regulations.

  • Resell or transfer tickets in violation of these Terms & Conditions.

Article 11 – Governing Law & Disputes

  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.

  • Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in British Columbia.

Article 12 – Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Article 13 – Agreement Modifications

  • The Organizer reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The terms applicable to your ticket purchase are those in effect at the time of purchase.
