THE PERFECT ENGLISH ESCAPE!
Here’s why Hampton Manor is the ideal setting for our retreat:
Nestled in the heart of the English countryside, this manor effortlessly blends historical elegance with modern luxury.
Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Birmingham International Airport, and a short drive from central Birmingham, making it easy to reach.
Only about a 2-hour drive or a quick train ride from London Heathrow Airport, making it accessible for international travelers.
Inclusive and welcoming, with beautifully designed rooms to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay for every attendee.
We’ll have the entire manor to ourselves, creating an intimate and exclusive atmosphere!
The estate’s expansive gardens and cozy nooks offer endless spots to curl up with a book or simply enjoy the tranquility of nature.
Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and Hampton Manor provides a secure and welcoming environment—both physically and emotionally.
And did I mention we’re indulging in a wine-tasting experience with the manor’s sommelier?
Once you’re in, you’ll vote on your RETREAT book track!
For the retreat’s books, we’ll focus on recently published works. This way, we’ll all read the books together for the first time!
All attendees can vote on the retreat’s fiction, fantasy, mystery, or romance book, and then you’ll pick your genre book track. Book options will prioritize women and BIPOC authors and LGBTQ+ storylines.
Based on your book track, you’ll be assigned to a group of people who also chose that book, and you’ll meet throughout the retreat to discuss your book.
It’s encouraged to read your book in full before the retreat starts for maximum discussion opportunities. And, rest assured, our book will be shipped to you before the retreat begins! Our past retreat books have included…
At every Book Huddle retreat, the retreat is whatever you want to be. All activities are encouraged, but nothing is mandatory, so you can make this getaway exactly as you’d like it.
Looking for a tranquil space to lose yourself in a good book? Find your comfort. Keen on a calming walk to reflect and unwind? The paths are yours to wander. Want a friendly book discussion? Warm up with your new friends in this stunning manor!
The itinerary will be shaped by the desires of attendees, but in the meantime, here’s what I have in mind:
