Let’s Huddle on the Oregon Coast!

I am absolutely thrilled to announce a 2025 summer reading retreat, and Book Huddle’s 12th retreat overall!

From Aug 1st-3rd, 2025, we’ll be heading to the Oregon Coast, staying at the breathtaking Salishan Coastal Lodge, a venue known for its natural beauty and modern amenities.

Every Book Huddle retreat has received a 99% satisfaction rating, and this time will be no exception. With luxurious accommodations, enriching activities, and a community of passionate readers, I’m confident this retreat will be unforgettable.

But first, a quick note:

Our retreats sell out very quickly, often within minutes. It’s highly recommended to join Book Huddle Club by Feb 16th for early access to ticket sales, a $50 USD discount on your ticket, and the chance to connect with 500+ readers in our virtual book club!

Please note: Joining Book Huddle Club does not guarantee a ticket but does give you a 24-hour head start!

Aug 2025 Reading Retreat Dates & Location

Think of a reading retreat as a book club weekend. You’ll choose from a selection of books, read the book before, and discuss the book with your huddle over the retreat! It’s the perfect bookish getaway, complete with plenty of reading, book chats, and opportunities to make new friends who love books as much as you do.

Our retreat will take place from Friday, Aug 1st at 4pm to Sunday, Aug 3rd, 2025 at 2pm at the Salishan Coastal Lodge in Gleneden Beach, OR.

Nestled along the rugged Oregon coastline, Salishan Coastal Lodge offers a serene retreat surrounded by lush forests and sweeping ocean vistas. Recognized as Oregon’s Leading Resort by the World Travel Awards and featured in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards, Salishan blends luxury with the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Our private gathering space provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and connecting. Weather permitting, we’ll also have outdoor book discussions and s’mores.

Sleeping Accommodations

You’ll stay in a cozy room at Salishan Coastal Lodge, featuring a private balcony or patio, a fireplace, plush bedding, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a mini fridge.

Solo spots include a king bed, while shared spots offer your own double bed with one other person. You can pre-select your roommate or be paired after ticket purchase.
